Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. continues to hire to build out its investment bank. The company recently hired four industry veterans for a newly created agency risk-arbitrage department, a managing director in health care and a managing director in media and entertainment. This, after hiring two managing directors for its taxable fixed-income sales-and-trading department in July. Those MDs brought a team of four with them.
The company also recently hired another managing director and complex manager for its North Carolina branches: Asheville, Greensboro and Charlotte.
