TD Ameritrade is ramping up its risk-management efforts with a high-profile hire. It recently brought on board David Kimm as chief risk officer to help identify and manage the firm's credit, market and operational risks. He will also oversee regulatory compliance and audit functions.
Kimm was most recently chief risk officer of Wells Fargo Advisors. He is a 30-year industry veteran and has been involved in risk management for 15 of those years. His resume also includes stints as chief financial officer at LPL and Fidelity.
