Goldman's Blankfein to Receive $9 Million in Stock as 2009 Bonus

Goldman chief Lloyd Blankfein and his lieutenants will each receive $9 million in stock as a 2009 bonus. Goldman's approximately 30,000 employees will receive altogether $16.19 billion for compensation and benefits, an average pay of approximately $500,000 per person.

The announcement put to an end to a long-expected pay disclosure.

Goldman is one of the first firms to return to profitability after accepting TARP funds.
