Obama Invites Finance CEOs to Supper

By FINSwire Team

President Obama's polite streak is still going strong. That, or he has a really big crush on Jamie Dimon, which, to be perfectly honest, we understand.

He's invited a dozen CEOs to dine with him tonight at the White House, and the JPMorgan chief is one of them. Kenneth Chenault, CEO of American Express, is also set to attend.

The executives are in Washington, D.C. for a meeting of the Business Roundtable, an association of top CEOs from around the country, so it's only natural that they would play nice with Obama beforehand. The President himself is scheduled to speak to the association tomorrow to quash the perception that he's as a business-friendly as Hugo Chavez.
