Credit Suisse
filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice in Albany last week that will spell layoffs for up to 250 employees in the New York area.
The institution filed the notice on October 21 and cites a "plant layoff" that will occur from September 22, 2010 through December 31, 2010.
In last week's earnings, the firm said it added 3,100 workers in the past year, a 7% boost in headcount.
