Ralph Rosenberg has joined KKR as managing director and will lead global real estate investing, the firm announced today. He will be based in New York and report to Henry Kravis and George Roberts, co-founders and co-CEOs of KKR.
Rosenberg was most recently a partner at Eton Park Capital Management, where he served on the operating and commitment committees and was responsible for the firm's ventures in the commercial real estate debt and equity markets. Prior to Eton Park, he founded his own investment firm which focused on commercial real estate. He also worked at Goldman Sachs for 17 years and made partner in 1998. He was the co-founder and co-head of the global special situations group and has also served co-chief operating officer of the firm's real estate principal investment area.
Rosenberg obtained his bachelor's degree from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
