The NASDAQ OMX Group Inc. announced a rash of changes in its senior ranks this morning, days after announcing its joint bid to buy NYSE Euronext.
The exchange operator has hired back former CFO David Warren as a special advisor to CEO Bob Greifeld. Warren stepped down from his NASDAQ role in February 2009, a position he held since July 2001.
It also hired David LaValle for a new position focused on exchange-traded funds. LaValle was most recently a managing partner at Kellogg Group, where he handled NYSE's Amex equity unit, among other things.
Finally, NASDAQ promoted Brian Hyndman to senior vice president of Global Data Products. Hyndman was previously senior vice president of transaction services in the U.S.
