Credit Suisse named two new energy heads in the Americas. Tim Perry becomes head of oil and gas in Houston while Ray Wood heads power and renewables in New York, according to an internal memo.
The changes are a result of reshuffling at the top. Jim Amine was named sole head of the bank's global investment banking department on March 22 after his co-head Luigi de Vecchi decided to take a sabbatical.
Jamie Welch, who had been head of power and renewables in the Americas, was promoted also March 22 to head of the Europe, Middle East and Africa investment banking unit, reporting to Amine. Ray Wood is replacing Welch in that title.
Tim Perry replaces Osmar Abib, who was appointed global co-head of the energy group last week with Jamie Welch. Abib had run the Americas oil and gas business since 2006.
Abib will be based in Houston and Welch will move to London in their new positions.
