Overview

KeyCorp is the holding company for super-regional bank KeyBank National Association, known as KeyBank. The Cleveland-based company provides a range of retail and commercial banking, commercial-leasing, investment-management, consumer-finance and investment-banking products and services. It has 985 branches in 13 states.

While the bank didn't have a big subprime mortgage business, it has been hit hard by the decline in the housing market. The bank's headquarters are in Key Tower skyscraper, which has views of Lake Erie and the Cleveland Browns Stadium.
