JPMorgan Asset Management Holdings Inc. is the asset management arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and one of the largest fund managers in the world. Products include mutual funds, money market funds, managed accounts, private equity, hedge funds and retirement accounts. It has operations and clients in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The asset manager caters to four client groups: institutions and retail clients, the ultra high-net-worth through JP Morgan Private Bank, and high-net-worth clients through its parent’s Private Wealth Management group.
JPMorgan ranked as the second largest hedge-fund manager, according to Alpha Magazine’s 2009 Hedge Fund 100 rankings. The firm took first place in 2008.
