Its programs include currency and rates, credit strategies, convertible securities, and equity strategies. Chicago-based UBS O'Connor has offices in New York, London, and Hong Kong.

UBS O'Connor has a storied history. Swiss Bank Corp. bought O'Connor & Associates, a Chicago-based derivatives shop in 1992. O'Connor & Associates became part of SBC Warburg, after the 1995 acquisition of London investment bank S.G. Warburg Group. O'Connor is now part of USB AG
's alternative investments division but has sought to preserve its cultural identity.
