UMB Chairman and CEO Mariner Kemper was named one of America’s Most Powerful CEOs by Forbes Magazine in 2009. Kemper was also was named Community Banker of the Year by American Banker, a trade magazine, in 2008.

UMB recently acquired JD Clark & Co., a privately held, third-party fund-service provider to alternative investments firms.
