The Veritas Capital Fund LP is a New York-based private equity investment firm with expertise is in the defense, aerospace, government services, media/telecommunications, consumer products and specialty manufacturing industries. The firm is currently putting capital to work from its third fund, Veritas Capital Fund III.
The company was founded in 1992 by Bronx-born Robert B. McKeon, a founding partner of Wasserstein Perella & Co. As a long-term investor in the defense sector, the firm set up a Defense & Aerospace Advisory Council made up of high-ranking government and military officials, including retired generals Richard E. Hawley and Barry R. McCaffrey.
