Los Angeles-based Korn/Ferry International is the world’s largest executive recruitment firm. The firm’s army of 500 recruiters conducts more than 10,000 senior-level searches each year. Korn/Ferry recruits senior-level execs in the consumer, financial, health-care services, industrial, life sciences and technology industries and sectors. The firm also has a research arm, The Korn/Ferry Institute. It has 90 offices in 40 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
BusinessWeek selected seven of Korn/Ferry’s recruiters in 2008 as part of the magazine’s 100 of The World's Most Influential Headhunters. Like other recruiters, the firm recently announced plans to cut jobs to cope with slumping demand amid the downturn.
