Deutsche Bank USA is the New York-based arm of Deutsche Bank AG, Germany's biggest bank and one of the world's largest investment banks. The bank is one of the largest foreign employers in New York and the only investment bank physically located on Wall Street.
The bank has been downsizing its global markets division by 15%, cutting jobs in equity trading and risk-arbitrage team and consolidating and relocating other areas. At the same time, the bank plans to grow other areas such as cash equities, commodities and foreign exchange. The bank has been recruiting heavily for its M&A business, particularly for its financial institutions group.
