Do I have to pay for FINS services?
No. All FINS services are free to anyone interested in the current job market.

Do I need to register?
No. You don’t need to register to view job listings or research companies and sectors. But, you do need to register to apply for jobs, receive personalized job suggestions, save your search results, or subscribe to alerts and subscriptions (not available at this time).

Do I need a resume?
No. You can build a professional profile on our site without a resume. However, in order to apply for a job on FINS, you must upload a resume to send to the employer.

Where do the Suggested Jobs come from? How can I refine or change them?
FINS creates personalized job suggestions based on the information in your profile. To modify your job suggestions, weight the “Responsibilities” and “Skills” sections of the two most recent positions listed in your profile by including as many specific keywords about what you have done and what you are looking to do. (This will also help recruiters who are looking to fill your desired positions find you more easily).

How do I know if the recruiter received my job application?
When you have successfully applied for a job through FINS, you will receive and email confirming your application. However, if you apply directly through an employer’s website, you may receive an email from that website but FINS cannot guarantee that your application was received.

Can I edit my resume or cover letter once I’ve uploaded it?
Yes. Not only can you edit or delete any of your current resumes and cover letters, you can upload up to 10 of each at one time. That way, you can easily tailor the information you send to each potential employer.

How do I update my profile?
To edit your profile, click on My Profile or select the My Profile tab within the My Dashboard section of the header.

How much does it cost to post a job?
FINS offers a variety of competitive job packages. Visit our Plan Package page here.

Can I add multiple users to my account?
Yes. If you required multiple users on the same account, we recommend creating a Corporate Account. This type of account assigns an Account Administrator to set up the account and assign users. Each user is given their own login and can post jobs and manage candidates. But, only the Account Administrator can purchase or edit plan packages.

How do I pay for the job packages?
There are two ways to pay for job packages. One is to pay immediately with a credit card and the other is to create a Corporate Account and be invoiced at a later date. For more information about pricing and payments, contact our sales team at sales@fins.com or at (877) FINS-450.

Where do the Candidate Matches come from?
FINS uses an innovative tool that maps candidates’ experience, skills and employment history against the job descriptions in the job database. The most relevant candidates are automatically selected from the database and presented to you in your profile and via email alerts.

I am having problems posting a job. Who can I talk to?
If you are having problems posting a job or would like to speak to someone about your account, please send an email to sales@fins.com or call (877) FINS-450 and an account executive will contact you shortly.

How do I change my password?
You can change your password at any time by visiting your My Account page by clicking on the My Account link in the header and then clicking on the “Change Password” link. If you have continue to have problems, please contact Customer Service.

I can't remember my username and/or password. What do I do?
Don’t worry. If you’ve forgotten your login information, simply click here and your information will be emailed to the email you used to create the account. You can also receive an email by clicking on the Forgot Your Password link on the Log In page.

How do I edit my email alerts?
To change the frequency of your email alerts or to unsubscribe, simply log into your account and click on Alerts & Subscriptions. Then, you can select the frequency of alerts that you desire.

I'm experiencing technical difficulties. Help!
If you are have serious difficulties with the site, you can always reach us by sending an email to support@fins.com (email pending) or by clicking on the Contact Us in the footer.
