About Advisory
You will provide advice and creative solutions for a diverse range of private and public sector clients. You guide them through major transactions, operational changes and strategic decisions - helping with anything from a merger or a fraud investigation to providing ideas that enhance business performance.

Job description and responsibilities:

Participate in analysing business performance of corporate clients for the purpose of debt restructuring and restoring value for stakeholders;
Assist in providing advice to stakeholders on restructuring and recovery strategies in distressed companies and distressed transactions;
Assist in insolvency appointments including attending on site to take control of the assets;
Gathering information, meeting suppliers, customers, employees and other stakeholders;
Be involved in the asset realisation and recovery, creditor management process and statutory and other reporting in formal insolvencies; and
Assist in dealing with stakeholders and other professionals.

Reporting structure and key relationships:
Reporting to: Business Recovery Services manager

Requirements:
We are looking for graduates from any discipline who can demonstrate:

A commitment to achieve HKICPA or equivalent qualification;
Ability to grasp commercial and business issues;
Problem solving capabilities using common sense and creativity;
Possess the energy, drive and persistence;
Good research and analytical skills;
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua would
be an advantage;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Team players, who work effectively under pressure; and
Flexibility and willingness to travel, mostly in China.
