POSITION SUMMARY
The Branch Manager is responsible for providing a superior customer experience in the branch while meeting all business objectives. The Branch Manager manages a team of employees to ensure the daily sales, service and operational plans are embedded in the way we do business, while putting our customers at the forefront of all that we do. The Branch Manager should inspire, recognize, and provide a motivational environment through daily coaching.

Position Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies that are aligned with the Area business plan to achieve desired revenue, expense and service goals.
• Support the portfolio growth in the branch by identifying cross-sell opportunities, deepening relationships and increasing client acquisition, being an active participant as needed.
• Create a warm, welcoming and friendly customer centric branch environment.
• Provide inspiration and leadership to branch staff daily through one-on-one coaching, morning huddles, and end of day meetings.
• Ensure effective lobby and line management to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Plan, organize and coordinate daily sales, service, and operations management processes.
• Create a strong sales and service culture, fostering an environment in which all branch employees work together to achieve all business goals.
• Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and customer first culture.
• Source, develop and close sales and manage relationships for consumer and small business customers.
• Cultivate partnerships with key support groups (Commercial Business, Mortgage, Payroll, etc) to drive sales and ensure that all customer needs are met.
• Lead sales and service activities within the branch by planning seminars, micro-marketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Monitor and adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Coordinate hiring, performance management, compensation, administration, communication and employee evaluations.
• Manage controllable components of P&L expenses/activities for the Branch.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business (preferred) or equivalent work experience
• Previous Branch Manager or other Sales Management experience required
• Operations and service experience
• Five or more years of sales experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and influence others
• Customer service orientation
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Financial/business acumen

This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ("Registry") and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities, to maintain and renew that registration on an annual basis, to update registration information with the Registry on a timely basis, and to provide that unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies and procedures.
