The Officer will be responsible for the daily oversight of a staff of performance analysts preparing the performance and investment exposure reports for the alternative investments portfolios of our clients, which include some of the world's largest corporate and public pension funds, endowments, and foundations. Responsibilities include: lead teams in review & preparation of performance measurement calculations & analyses; supervise day-to-day activities of junior and senior performance analysts and financial analysts; management and fulfillment of ad hoc client requests; and providing assistance to senior management with special projects, as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related discipline, with 4+ years experience in private equity, venture capital, or financial services. A CFA, MBA or private equity/alternative investments experience is a plus. The candidate must have strong computer and interpersonal skills with a solid client service orientation and be proactive and self-motivated with an excellent work ethic, positive attitude and desire to work in a team environment. Candidates must be comfortable with managing a small team of employees as well as interacting directly with clients. The candidate should possess knowledge of investment performance concepts and strong written and oral communication skills.
