Job Description

The successful applicant will work as part of the operational risk team within Business Risk.

He/she will be tasked with identifying risks and controls with business owners and provides training & support on the Risk Management system. He/she will maintain the system and keep it up to date with relevant data and provide Management Information output.

Other tasks will be to:

• Deliver an operational risk framework across the group using the risk management system. Aberdeen uses the system Sword to deliver this.

• Event reporting - provide recommendations for preventative action based on analysis of root cause control breakdowns.

• Provide management information to senior managers and Management including Group Management Board

• Deliver a Data Security plan for the Group.

The applicant should possess good communication (spoken and written) and presentation skills, an eye for details, independent as well as a good team player. He/she should also have a Degree in Finance, Business, or related field with 1 year working experience in the fund management or related industry.

Fresh graduates are also welcomed.
