Position/Program Requirements
Knowledge Preferred:

Considerable knowledge developing and maintaining the high level design plan for the overall logical and technical IT infrastructure architecture. Considerable knowledge providing technical leadership and consulting across the organization from the strategic decision making down to the project planning levels.

Considerable knowledge evaluating technologies and methods for implementing high level architectural plans.

Considerable experience consulting with clients in the healthcare services industry.

Skills Preferred:

Considerable experience assisting architectural consulting engagements, direction, and Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, and other Systems Architects; and assisting in documenting and developing in-depth knowledge of a client's existing IT systems architecture and technology portfolio. Considerable experience assisting in developing and managing infrastructure capacity plan. Considerable experience assisting in developing, documenting, communicating, and enforcing a technology standards policy. Considerable experience assisting in planning, designing, testing, and overseeing the development of an end-to-end infrastructure architecture.

Demonstrated experience identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Demonstrated experience as a team leader: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:

Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required.

Travel requirements: 100%
Additional Information
Experience in strategic planning, project management, team lead and process analyst roles around the assessment, evaluation, design and implementation of EHR/EMR, clinical systems.

Preferred systems' experience with Epic, Siemens, Cerner, Eclipsys, Meditech and McKesson.

Experience with HIE initiatives highly sought.

Prefer several years of consulting experience and clinical background.
