
As a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers Investigations & Forensic Services practice, you will help identify and analyze vulnerabilities in order to manage and mitigate risk. Our in-depth process of forensic accounting diagnosis allows our clients to continue their business, recover lost funds and halt further economic losses.
Our industry-leading securities litigation practice specializes in defending companies and employees who are subject to SEC or U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) investigations or class-action litigation with regard to their financial statements, public disclosures and corporate governance actions. PricewaterhouseCoopers has extensive experience advising companies and their counsel in healthcare fraud and abuse investigations brought on by DOJ, Office of the Inspector General, state enforcement mechanisms and through Qui Tam actions.
PwC's Corporate Intelligence team within the Forensic Services Practice prepares comprehensive Corporate Intelligence deliverables, which comprises a synthesis of a honed analyses focusing on relevant risk management areas and profile information from various primary and secondary sources. Deliverables are customized to provide the client with the most relevant and focused information, enabling them to make critical assessment and informed decisions surrounding significant events and business strategies. Our reports include written communications of our findings. Position/Program Requirements Knowledge Preferred:
-Demonstrates some knowledge of, and/or direct success performing in a business-/corporate-/competitive intelligence practice-related role emphasizing, conducting qualitative due diligence, internal investigations and external inquiries on corporate entities and affiliates, and commercial and private sector intelligence-gathering. This includes some knowledge of leveraging and using CI databases, market and/or competitive research, secondary market data source research, and other business intelligence data sources. -Demonstrates some knowledge of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act provisions and current enforcement trends, as well as other regulatory drivers for due diligence, including some understanding of the impact the following has on businesses: anti-corruption and anti-bribery programs; related international treaties and regulatory framework; corporate ethics, compliance, and transparency programs; and, public and private sector counter-fraud measures. -Demonstrates some knowledge and practical understanding of the law, legal cases, and regulatory processes, especially as it relates to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and related laws and regulations -A completed and obtained Master's Degree in International Relations/Economics, Political Science or Business Administration are preferred.

-Demonstrates thorough capabilities when researching various business information and investigative databases, analyzing information, and drafting and reviewing formal written reports and presenting ideas to small or large groups; -Demonstrates some ability to work effectively and utilize project management skills to manage tasks according to strict deadlines, understanding the importance of effective time management; -Demonstrates some ability to build and maintain an active network of internal and external intelligence sources; -Demonstrates some ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative information and weave together disparate data to develop relevant insights and determine business implications. This includes the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into concise, written reports and presentations, with actionable recommendations, demonstrating functional abilities with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word); -Demonstrates some ability to manage effectively multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines while working both independently and in a team environment; -Demonstrates some ability to think analytically, strategically, and apply good business judgment for purposes of identifying an entity or individuals subtle risk features and/or identifying and addressing client needs; -Demonstrates some ability to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management, which includes influencing and impacting others through building and defending arguments and reaching consensus, collaborating and interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management in client discussions and meetings, and conducting interviews; -Demonstrates a flexible work style and schedule to meet client demands - often time as a result of crisis driven event with changing directives and priorities, where all information is not known; and -Demonstrated business levels of fluency in a second language is preferred, especially Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Arabic in order to conduct reputational and integrity due diligence on international companies which involves reviewing open source documents in the entities local language.
