Job Description

Essential Job Functions [1] :

Prioritize short and long term goals as determined by field sales Directors.

Help set benchmarks and milestones to achieve goals.

Create business sales plan to cover each inside sales person.

Work with inside sales staff to ensure they successfully meet their objectives.

Monitor and enhance the quality and effectiveness of inside sales.

Develop appropriate measurements and corresponding reporting.

Assist in developing and delivering sales and product training programs.

Coordinate efforts of inside sales with field sales people.

Education and Experience:

BA/BS degree.

Appropriate NASD licenses required.

Demonstrated record of successful business development and client relationships in the financial professional channel.

Five or more years related experience in mutual fund/financial services industry.

Experience managing staffs of four or more people in relevant industry.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to proactively manage and motivate sales staff.

Understanding of sales cycles and customer service and the ability to transfer that knowledge into business plans.

Ability to develop benchmarks and measurements that will support the business plan.

Understanding of the mutual fund industry, ETF financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management, and client-service strategies.

Be able to prioritize projects and requests effectively.

Ability to understand the needs of clients/partners in order to identify "critical" services they must have, competitive services they expect to have and additional services they would like to have.

Ability to quickly obtain breadth of product knowledge in order to act as ProFund Advisors main point of contact for inside sales when needed.
