A long standing asset management firm is making major changes to the way Marketing impacts the Financial Services market. No longer purely a sales support function, our client is in the process of completely re-vamping their marketing organization and putting new skills and abilities in place. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing Marketing team within one of the top Asset Management firms in NYC.

The role of Senior Copyeditor has very recently become available. This is a new position and the responsibilities of the Senior Copyeditor will be the following:
* think critically and translate complex financial services ideas into engaging marketing materials for non-technical audiences
* Collaborating with writers and other internal stakeholders to make each piece we write useful and memorable
* Ability to quickly and thoroughly assess and improve marketing collateral such as retail pieces, promotional brochures, website, sales ideas, email campaigns, twitter messages, mail campaigns, research papers, whitepapers, etc.
* Keeping abreast of issues affecting the mutual fund business
* Understand and the considerations of FINRA, house style, grammar and syntax
* Work with graphic and web designers
* Edit/re-write/repurpose marketing materials and content from portfolio and product managers

The succsesful Senior Copyeditor will be able to demonstrate the following:
* 7+ years financial editorial experience
* Knowledge of the mutual fund business, and the forces facing professionals in all distribution channels
* Ability to write and adapt materials for various client types at varying levels of sophistication
* Capable of managing a number of projects simultaneously
* Comfortable adjusting copy by making substantive recommendations to more effectively communicate with the intended audience
* Familiar with copy treatments in print and digitally
