Job Description

The Alternative Investment RFP Writer will work with Portfolio Management teams to describe and explain the following alternative investment strategies as needed:
* Fund of Hedge Funds
* Convertible Arbitrage
* Long/Short Equity
* other equity and fixed income domestic and international strategies

Additional responsibilities of the Alternative Investmnet RFP Writer will include:
* Communicating and coordinating with the database administrator
* Comfort using RFP software
* Act ast liason for Marketing as a central source of information for the relevant alternative investmen strategies

The successful Alternative Investment RFP Writer will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 2 years experience Writing RFPs with an investment management firm
* Quantitative reasoning ability
* Ability to understand inner workings of investment strategies and articulate them simply
* Comfort RFP software (RFP Machine or PMAPS a plus).
* Detail oriented
