A UK based hedge fund expanding to sunny Newport Beach is looking for a Hedge Fund Compliance Officer.

As a compliance officer you will be:
*Checking that trade files in US hours have been sent and updating any new mappings in portfolio system.
*Pricing of portfolio (US close)
*Assisting with trading booking (US Close)
*Agreeing P/L daily (early/US open)
*Compliance (infrequent/monthly)
a) PA Dealing
b) Compliance training
c) Best execution checking
d) Monthly/annual monitoring

*Assisting Front office with any ad hoc tasks (ad hoc)
*Liasing with other middle office team members on trades/booking issues (ad hoc)
*Office Management (Daily/ad hoc)
a) General/ad hoc office issues
b) Basic accounting for US office.
g) Bank payments and reconciliations
h) dealing with expenses/suppliers

* We want someone with roughly 5 years experience in this type of space.
* Energetic individual who doesn't have a "That's not my job" type of attitude.
*Our client is team oriented everyone helps out and is seeking an individual who is a team player as well.
