Job Description

A leading, global financial services firm is looking for a Director of Internal Audit.

The Director of Internal Audit will be responsible for the following duties:

*Oversee Audit group's risk management assurance and advisory activities, audit planning and strategic initiatives among other things.
*Manage and lead all audits from beginning to end including risk assessment, test work, reporting, etc.
*Help with global regional projects
*Participate in the creation of the annual audit plan
*Assess all current and potential risks to mitigate business threats
*Directly manage all audit staff
*Provide advisory services during the creation of new business models
*Other ad hoc projects as needed

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

*Undergrad degree in finance, accounting or similar field required
*Experience within financial services firm highly preferred
*Understanding of asset management products preferred
*CPA a strong plus
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
*Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills
