Job Description

sklondonThe Structured Credit Portfolio Manager will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and recommending new investment opportunities for the Firm's portfolios. In addition, the person should be experienced at monitoring, reviewing existing credit exposures, recommending and executing trades, and assisting with operations, client management and marketing groups in their respective roles.

The fund will focus on the following markets: European CLOs, conforming and non-conforming European mortgages, RMBS, ABS, portfolios of loans or debt instruments as well as select CMBS opportunities.

The candidate should have strong business relationships with investment banks, brokerage firms, issuers, and other market participants. The candidate needs to be well known in the London and European securitized debt markets. In addition, the person should be able to maintain accurate analytics and valuation of securities, work with our Risk Management, operations and Client Relations groups to assure accurate portfolio information. This person will also need to build necessary infrastructure working with our analytics staff.

Candidate should have 8+ years' experience. The person must have a strong credit, finance, economic, business and technical skills as well as a team oriented background to work well with diverse groups.

Position is based in LONDON
