The Company
Client is a global commodity trading company.

The Role
The senior operations executive will be required to support all contracts handled on Singapore trade desk, liaise with local and overseas Trading, Treasury and Accounting Departments.

You will be in charged of overseeing the operations team in monitoring shipments, preparation of documentary instructions, negotiation of Letter of Credits, calculation of demurrage and despatch. You will negotiate contracts at preferential rates with surveyors. When serious problems arise, you will assist to develop multiple solutions for discussions with the appropriate Trader or the Head Trader. It is critical for you to teach and train members of the team.

You will assist to follow up on claims, and calculate demurrage, or dispatch and freight related charter party accounts in coordination with freight department.

Your Profile
The successful candidate will be a degree or diploma holder with 10 years of relevant experience in commodity trading operations. You will fluent in both written and spoken English and highly computer literate. You will be able to work on your own initiative under pressure and in a methodical, detailed and accurate fashion.
