Job Description
Reverse Mortgage is a dynamic industry that has seen dramatic growth year over year since its inception. MetLife Bank, a subsidiary of MetLife Inc is looking to recruit and hire Reverse Mortgage professionals to oversee the distribution of reverse mortgage products and services to the senior community and work has begun to build its national network. Our desire is to be the employers of choice for reverse mortgage professionals, while simultaneously setting the industry standard for responsible reverse mortgage lending practices.

As a result of our aggressive expansion program, we are looking for a highly motivated individual in this area, who wants to be part of our winning team. As a Reverse Mortgage Consultant, you will be responsible for the business development and loan production within an exclusive marketing territory. Your daily activities will include meeting with seniors to advise them on how our financial products may meet their financial needs, building a professional referral network, administering your territory's marketing program, making group presentations to financial professionals and senior groups, and following-up on leads both self-generated and company provided. You will participate in all activities required to bring a loan to closing.

Principal Responsibilities:
* Managing the sales opportunities and developing a marketing strategy and for assigned territory. Enact execution of that strategy with support and guidance of Area Manager (ASM)
* Demonstrated ability to fund a minimum of 2 Reverse Mortgage loans per month
* Producing high quality loans which meet Reverse Mortgage guidelines while providing superior customer service.
* Soliciting Reverse Mortgages from various sources including Community Outreach Programs, attorneys, healthcare organizations, financial professionals, past customers and other related sources.
* Partner with MetLife Bank Forward partners to act as a junior ambassador for reverse mortgage, under the guidance of the ASM, creating a positive face for the reverse mortgage product, facilitating strong business partnerships with forward mortgage counterparts within their territory.
* Developing and maintaining a high degree of respected visibility for MetLife Bank in the community served.
* Management and accountability for sales production goals defined by ASM
* Development and successful execution of grass roots marketing plan for submission, review and approval by ASM. Written plan to be submitted at interval determined by ASM.
* Demonstrated diligence, resolution and process management of all Satisfaction survey inquiries by customers.
* Adhere to the responsibilities delineated as MetLife Bank Reverse Mortgage Sales Best Practices, including attendance at personal client's closings, actively assisting to clear conditions, strong visibility at grass roots marketing events
* Adhere to the Performance Management Program for RMCs
* Uphold the professionalism, integrity and trust of the MetLife Brand and code of conduct; act as the face of MetLife Bank Reverse Mortgage loans in their territory.
* Own fiscal accountability for grass roots marketing dollars assigned for market development, as well as any other expense dollars or equipment assigned.
* Participate actively and cooperatively in monthly one-one-one with ASM and own responsibility for all actionable items identified in those meetings.
* Management and achievement of personal pipeline production and production goals.
* Strict adherence to the sales processes and policies and procedures defined by management, legal and compliance
* Weekly and monthly sales reporting as defined by ASM
* Problem resolution as it relates to the closing and funding of loans
Job Requirements
We seek a motivated, success-oriented, patient, ethical, self starter who wants to maximize their career potential.
* Dynamic sales opportunities await the candidate with at least six months experience with Reverse Mortgage sales.
* Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must have experience in public speaking and be able to deliver high-impact presentations to large, diverse groups.
* Demonstrated computer proficiency, technology acumen and experience with contact management software is essential
* A highly professional appearance is a must.
* Successful completion of reverse mortgage originator training is required.
* All reverse mortgage consultants are required to be primarily engaged in the sales of reverse mortgage products, and are required to be customarily and regularly outside of the office and outside of his/her home office making sales of reverse mortgages.
