To ensure smooth functioning of Card Operations with the use of the knowledge acquired in MasterCard related activities. The candidate is to manage a good balance between card related systems and operations and look for opportunities to improve processes.

Responsibilities
• Managing the Card Operation cycle and reconciliation processes effectively to ensure proper settlements.
• Tracking notifications from MasterCard Online and managing these resources effectively to avoid penalties and unnecessary charges.
• Managing the entire Chargeback cycle which includes Retrieval Requests, Representations, Compliance and Arbitrations.
• Handling MasterCard related documentation and reporting
• Collection of MIS and analysis of same prior to distributing to all stakeholders and updating the Intranet.
• Act as the contact for QMR and Operating Certificates.
• Extraction of daily/week/monthly MIS from TSYS for effective monitoring of transactions and volumes from a business/operational and risk perspective.
• Ensure existing controls related to card operations are maintained and strive to continuously tightening controls.
• Monitor Chargebacks, Retrieval Requests, Fee Collection
• Participate in all card related system testing for all enhancements and new systems.
• Must ensure full compliance with all associations thus avoiding any warning and penalties.
• Manage the end to end card production process which involves the delivery of the card to the cardholders
• Manage the end to end statement production process which involves the pick-up of statement from CO&F to the client/cardholder

Requirements
• Over 8 years of experience in a Card Centre managing various types of card related operations
• Must be fully conversant with Payment Cards operations, transactions flows;
• Must have an in-depth knowledge in Prime and Online, especially with the ability of writing simple sqls.
• A fair knowledge in EMV and 3D Secure transactions
• Good time management and project management skills.
• Good analytical skills
• Must the capability to effectively negotiate and manage with third party vendors.
