The Financial Services industry is operating in a challenging environment due to global economic pressure, increasing regulatory demands and capital requirements as well as significant operational and technology changes. Our growing Financial Services Advisory practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help major financial institutions around the world respond to their most complex business challenges. The Financial Services Advisory practice is composed of three industry sectors: Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets and Insurance.
The Business Applications team helps PwC clients with Oracle and SAP capabilities used across finance, operations, human capital and customer, and is leveraged to advise on industry-specific business applications.
Position/Program Requirements
Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates considerable knowledge in projects related to and/or leveraging one or more of the following areas related to systems configurations within the Insurance industry, including:
-Guidewire ClaimCenter and Contact Center
-GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and object oriented programming
-JAVA hosting, as well as utilization of web services that primarily use Java
-Webservices hosting and consuming, using the guidewire studio toolkit
-XLM Coding
-XML, ANT, MAVEN and code repository such as Clear Case, SVN, TFS
-Cogent communication, facilitation and presentations to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management
-Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification are preferred.
Skills Preferred
-Proven thorough abilities and a record of success within the professional services and consulting industries with emphases in Financial Services and the Insurance industry.
-Proven thorough abilities as a team member: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback.
