Role: The market strategist is responsible for analyzing and monitoring key demand and competitive trends that affect MA's various customer segments. The market strategist's findings and recommendations are primarily used by senior management to prioritize and deploy sales and marketing resources, to educate and train the sales force and to inform marketing messages and positioning.

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute primary and secondary research on market trends and competitive environment in various geographical markets and across the insurance vertical market in which MA competes
- Analyze and keep abreast of key regulatory developments affecting MA's customers and MA offerings to identify potential opportunities and threats
- Develop detailed business cases for new initiatives that includes global demand forecasts, competitive analysis, investment analysis and financial projections
- Provide quick market assessments of various corporate development opportunities to senior management

- Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree), MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in strategy or marketing in the financial services industry.
- Significant experience with planning and executing segment specific marketing strategies in a business-to-business market.
- In-depth understanding of financial services insurance market.
- Experience with IT development processes related to website development, web analytics or marketing applications preferred.
- Familiarity with content management systems.
- Demonstrates expertise of statistical analysis, and demonstrates understanding of data analysis, financial projections and demand forecasting.
- Experience in developing business cases and market assessments for senior management.
- Ability to articulate business requirements for development projects to the technology team.
- Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary project working groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional problem solving capabilities.
