Job Description


The individual in this position will be responsible for:
  • Developing and monitoring accounting and operations divisions on the real estate accounting side.
  • Maintaining detailed accounting records for the firm's investments in real estate funds.
  • Reviewing quarterly fund financial statements and reporting.
  • Understanding the fund operations; analyzing results and insuring accuracy of related data.
  • Understanding fund partnership agreements and assisting in applying the provisions of the agreements.
  • Coordination, preparation, review and analysis of financial reporting; including GAAP financial statements, cash flow projections, estimates and budgets.
  • Handle special projects related to various issues, such as system reconciliations, property budgets, and the establishment of new portfolios.


Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience of real estate fund accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
  • Must be able to think analytically while simultaneously being able to multi-task and maintain organization.
  • Previous experience using Investran is preferred.
