This high performing team translates business strategy into operations strategy and transforms operations to drive both growth and profitability. Specific areas of focus include global footprint and network design, product innovation and development, sales and operations planning, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing operations, service operations, logistics, and capital programs. Position/Program Requirements Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge in Logistics including knowledge and understanding using a ""pull"" continuous replenishment system with distributors/customers in order to increase frequency, speed, and quality of deliveries, implementing a ""Cross Docking Distribution System"" to significantly reduce warehousing costs and speed inventory turns, reducing premium freight costs through the adoption of logistics controls, establishing a system using bar codes or radio frequency tags to streamline the material receipt and inventory updating process, reducing the number of preferred carriers and developing prearranged and pre-authorized modes of transportation for standard and premium vendor shipments.
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge and success in a role using various enterprise resource planning systems and warehouse management systems such as JD Edwards, SAP (especially Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules), Oracle, Hyperion, Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Manhattan Associates, EXE, Manugistics.
Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with and proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member identifying and addressing client needs with a focus on process and technology changes to logistics and warehousing functions.
Demonstrates a proven thorough record of success in participating in client discussions and meetings, managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.
Proven experience as a team leader including a proven track record of creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members, providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.
Minimum years of experience: 3 Minimum degree: Bachelors degree
Preferred concentration in Engineering or Operations Management. Graduate level degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Advisor (CFA), or American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certifications preferred.
