Job Description

Responsible for development and distribution of Medical cost reports; performing in-depth medical costs analysis; distribution of various reports to Management; contract reimbursement modeling, healthcare statistics, and regulatory reports.

Responsibilities:

Performs in-depth medical cost and financial trend analysis.

Distribute Medical costs reports to various departments on recurring basis, as well as, ad-hoc reporting upon request.

Be able to explain variances of actual costs and other statistical measures to budget/forecasts.

Perform financial and medical cost trend analysis.

Responsible for preparation of and distribution of various reports to Management.

Ensures compliance with Risk Management policies and incident reporting.

Performs other finance duties as required or as requested by the Director of

Finance and/or Manager of Financial Analysis.

Requirements
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Must have 5+ years experience in medical economics, financial analysis, and healthcare cost analysis,and combined, with strong project management skills.

Must be able to demonstrate teamwork, initiative, problem solving, creativity, and decision making abilities.

Familiar with financial and spreadsheets applications is required (SQL, Access, Excel)

Must have strong financial and analytical skills with equal strength in general acumen, and strong interpersonal skills to effective interact and influence people from other areas.
