Job Description

This role will be based in Old Greenwich, CT with responsibility for a population of approximately 250 employees spanning multiple offices situated globally.

Qualifications/Skills Required

-Extensive experience and knowledge of Human Resources across multiple functions

-HR Business Partner as well as HR generalist experience

-Experience of global HR strategy

-Experience with international human resources a plus

-Knowledge of local and regional employment laws

-Financial Services experience desired (ideally hedge fund, alternative asset, or investment banking)

-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

-Strong knowledge and familiarity with Excel

-Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment

-Good communicator with the ability to effectively communicate up, down and across levels of the organization

-Able to succeed in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment.

Role Responsibilities

HR Services

-Provide leadership and guidance to the business for HR Services

-Administration of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance

-Ensure that the business is kept informed of benefits and comp trends across the business

Employee Relations

-Keep up to date with US and non-US legal employment issues and employment practices

-Partner with the business to plan and coordinate employee exits

-Manage investigations of employee issues and grievances and devise solutions to ensure timely and appropriate actions are taken

-Devise techniques to improve and sustain employee morale

-Coach managers and members of senior management on variety of issues.

Recruitment/Onboarding

-Full end to end recruitment process from strategic planning to delivery of resources

-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting challenges and trends, labor laws, and legislative initiatives that may have implications on the organization

Compensation

Stay up-to-date on market compensation for comparable roles and conduct annual analysis

Other responsibilities

-Advise on best practices and manage HR related aspects of opening new offices around the world

-Manage the global employee mobilization process
