Job Description


 

Provide procurement, technical and financial expertise.  The individual will be responsible for the procurement of Information Technology and Telecommunication goods & services for CME Group including the evaluation of supplier proposals.   The individual will be expected to possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and promote positive working relationships inside and outside of CME Group. 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and manage IT & Telecom contracts for goods and services.

  • Lead business process initiatives to increase productivity, quality and effectiveness.

  • Facilitate supplier selection and negotiate contracts for key strategic initiatives.

  • Drive internal customers to identify and implement business process improvements.

  • Conduct business dealings with the highest level of integrity.

  • Ability to travel as necessary.

 Position & Education Requirements:

  • 1-3 years job-related work experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of finance and cost modeling

 SPECIFIC SKILLS: 

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, computer skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required.

  • Proven negotiation skills
