Job Description

This position is available to start ASAP and has amazing opportunities for growth and promotion. We are looking for someone whose strong knowledge of the public traded close-end funds will enable them to make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage funds, including debt facility and compliance reporting

• Prepare and review quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements

• Prepare and review SEC filings, including N-CSR, N-Q and NSAR

• Review monthly dividends and distributions

• Review monthly Fund NAV packages and monitor fund activity

• Perform OC test and review compliance reports

• Oversee hedge fund accounting and administrative services

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA (Big 4) preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience with '40 Act Funds

• Heavy SEC reporting background

• Strong understanding of RIC taxes, various securities and derivative products

• Demonstrates a high level of initiative and the ability to analyze fund information, make strong assessments and adapt to changes in schedule and procedure

• Exceptional knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
