Job Description


We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, who can think strategically as well as someone who can dive in deep into practical application. In this role, you will partner with the HR team and the business to execute HR strategies that support the business objectives. Responsibilities include benefits administration, employee relations, payroll support, onboarding and orientation, performance management and other initiatives that drive employee engagement and organizational development.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:
  • Administer benefits for current and new employees and responding to general employee inquiries.
  • Work closely with payroll administrator to enter changes and process payroll, including payroll review. Answer employee questions.
  • Lead employee orientation and design and develop tools to help managers and employees in the onboarding process
  • Work with employees and managers to provide advice and counsel on a variety of employee relations matters, including interpersonal relationship and communication challenges, development and ongoing performance management
  • Facilitate annual performance management process and work closely with HR team to develop and implement training
  • Train on and maintain PTO tracking for the firm, including reporting and non-exempt time tracking and overtime pay.
  • Develop internal processes and policies
  • Develop and implement recognition and retention programs
  • Lead and participate in projects to support HR initiatives.
  • Research and present industry best practices.
  • Create reports in Excel, analyze data, and make recommendations on key issues and next steps for special projects, e.g. turnover reporting, compensation analysis, onboarding surveys.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems with strategic thinking skills, as well as drive appropriate solutions with tactical actions
  • Strong data analysis skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Strong project management skills
  • A general understanding of employment law for Texas
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to operate in a changing environment and be able to manage ambiguity
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate
  • HR and business strategies
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
