This position works in conjunction with Dreyfus relationship managers, investment managers and other areas of the firm to service clients and ensure strong team communication on relevant matters. Responsible for all client requests with respect to assigned relationship managers and investment managers. Supports all distribution areas of Dreyfus, which include Broker/Dealer and Financial Planners, Insurance Companies distributing Variable Annuity and Variable Life Products, Defined Contribution Investment Only/Retirement Plans, Private Banks and Registered Investment Advisors. Additionally, client service support is also provided to BNY Mellon Fixed Income Group, primarily to cash management clients. Handles monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual firm and product updates, all types of reporting requirements and due diligence and RFPs.
* 3-5 years experience in financial services.
* Client service/relationship management and mutual fund experience preferred.
* BA/BS degree (preferably in business or economics) or equivalent experience required.
* RFP (Proposal Software - PMAPS database) experience preferred.
* Strong organizational, prioritization, oral and written communication skills, grammar and proofreading skills required.
* Must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet client deadlines.
