Job Description

To complete our team, we are looking for a candidate to join as an Investment Analyst, Private Debt.

In this position you will be responsible for assessing, executing and monitoring private leveraged finance and mezzanine transactions. Your tasks will include:

Perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private debt investments and monitor current investments
Perform various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring the portfolio, market research, internal requests and marketing efforts
Assist senior professionals in negotiating transaction documentation
Be a critical part of the deal team, with responsibility for LBO modeling and writing investment recommendations

For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a highly entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:

Top academic credentials, including a Bachelor's degree with a coursework emphasis in Business Strategy, Accounting, Finance and/or Mathematics
At least one year of work experience in the private leveraged finance market with a leading player
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills and a strong desire
to learn and succeed
Thorough knowledge of Word and Excel (modeling skills required) and the ability to conduct research
Strong written and oral communications skills
Be proactive on assignments/projects and demonstrate initiative
Able to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multi-task
Strong work ethic, professional demeanor and appearance
