Position Description:
The Global Operations group seeks an experienced VP level corporate actions senior manager to oversee and coordinate the processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions from all functional groups globally, i.e., portfolio management, legal and compliance, and middle office. VP directs and ensures the successful life cycle implementation of corporate action automation projects, and as a senior manager directs and governs relationship with back office and service providers to achieve the goal of "best in class" end to end processing.

Position Requirements:
Minimum of 12 years' experience with corporate actions both as a line operations manager of at least 10 people and business leader defining and sponsoring systems automation projects.
Knowledge of complex types of fixed income and equity corporate actions, domestic and global corporate actions, mandatory and voluntary corporate actions.
Experience leading a lateral team of portfolio managers through a process that processes corporate actions in a timely and accurate manner.
Experience with industry initiatives and vendor platforms such as ISO 20022 standards; ISITC Corporate Actions Working Group; XBRL; DTCC; Swift messaging; and XSP.
Experience with SharePoint to facilitate front office election workflows across multiple locations (for example: US, Europe and Asia) and multiple departments (for example: portfolio management, middle office, and guideline compliance).
Experience with interpreting and conveying the meaning of election ballots accurately.
Experience managing service providers and outsourcers.
Buy-side experience for at least 3 years.

Additional Skills
Experience rolling out XSP or equivalent software
Competitive industry knowledge, including data vendors, strategic alternatives for automation and financial market utility services
Knowledge of various vendor feeds and data services
Knowledge of Bloomberg's corporate action data service
Masters of Business Administration or CFA preferred
Six Sigma certification
