Job Description


This major financial firm in downtown NYC has an opening for a financial engineer.

The successful candidate will develop and implement valuation models and risk management and measurement tools for fixed income securities, structured products, and derivatives.

Special emphasis will be placed on the modelling, pricing, and risk analysis of structured credit products and RMBS, CMBS, and CLOs.

Candidates must have a MS or PhD in a quantitative field, and 5 - 7 years experience in valuation, model development, implementation, and/or risk management.

Candidates should have strong programming skills in C++, C#, or Java.

Candidates should also have good communication and interpersonal skills.
