Position Description:
Hedge Fund Solutions (HFS) is seeking a professional to support all aspects of client-servicing functions and activities associated the management of the HFS Customized Hedge Fund business. These activities include overseeing the collection, organization and preparation of information needed for internal reports, ad hoc requests and client facing materials.

Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as an interface with the HFS Advisory team, the Portfolio Solutions Group requiring skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel and VBA to run and create reports and analysis used for our rebalancing programs, proposals and client hedge fund portfolio analysis
• Conduct ad hoc analysis, reports, tables and graphics used in marketing materials, group and client presentations
• Ad hoc reporting and support for HFS reports and other impromptu requests
• Preparation and coordination of HFS presentation materials for regularly recurring client reviews and recommendations as well as support materials for regularly recurring internal meetings
• Provide commentary, updates and regular communications on the performance of the portfolio and relevant information on the underlying managers on the platform
• Create, develop and refine operational processes that enhance and support client reporting, reconciliation and valuation related to operational aspects of the HFS business
• Field inbound inquiries at the direction of the HFS team and respond to sales team requests both on a proactive and reactionary basis
• Assistance in development of client-presentation materials for customized portfolio pitches
• Preparation and coordination of HFS presentation materials for regularly recurring client reviews and recommendations
• Preparation of reports and support materials for regularly recurring internal meetings

Skills Required:
Skills
• Some prior experience with hedge fund or alternative asset class products
• Intermediate-to-advanced MS Access and Excel skills, including basic-to-intermediate VBA skills used to automate repetitive lookup and updating functions
• Advance MS Power Point with facility to integrate raw data from various input sources, such as MatLab, Sybase and MS Access files

Candidate Qualities
• 2+ years experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail, follow up and overseeing projects through completion
• Strong analytical skills with expert spreadsheet abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to:
1. Interface directly with clients, client's intermediaries and MS sales force
2. Work in a team environment
3. Produce high-quality work independently
4. Work under time sensitive constraints
• Resourceful, self-motivated individual with intellectual curiosity able to demonstrate creative approach to problem solving
