Description:
-       Review post-close files for credit quality, data integrity, and adherence to CMI credit policy and investor/insurer guidelines.
-       Provide feedback via written variance summaries on all loans reviewed.
-       Working with the business, identify training needs and provide feedback on quality trends.
-       Identify and document policy/process variations and work with QA management to provide internal partners with the appropriate feedback, as needed.
-       Interface with Risk Management, Originations and/or Credit Policy staff, when applicable, or directed to resolve issues.
-       Assess the level of risk associated with a loan on a transaction basis, making referrals, as necessary, to the Fraud Prevention and Investigation Unit, Vendor management, and the Repurchase unit.

-       Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of consumer mortgage underwriting experience, thorough knowledge of investor policies and guidelines, and an understanding of credit scoring.
-       Must have experience in managing volume to productivity and quality standards; strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
-       Analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills are critical to the role.
-       The ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally, with various organizational levels, complimented by a strong customer service ethic and team orientation are also required.
-       FHA/VA designations are a plus.
