Job Description

Independent investment firm in San Diego seeks a Marketing Associate/RFP Writer to provide marketing support for institutional level sales covering public and corporate pension plans, consultants and foundations. Individual will assist with all aspects of the RFP production process including due diligence questionnaires, updating pension consultant databases and preparing marketing materials. This individual works closely with various groups in the firm (business development, investment team, compliance) to complete these and other documents. Prior experience in writing RFPs or a familiarity with finance is mandatory.

Qualified individual will have a BA/BS degree and a minimum two years experience providing support to marketing activities, preferably with an investment firm. Superior written and verbal personal communications skills are required. We seek a well-organized, high energy, self-starter able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of support tasks; with demonstrated skills in prioritizing/handling multiple projects simultaneously and completing assigned tasks in a timely fashion. Proficient use of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint is mandatory.
