Job Description

Within the US region the Head of Business Development is responsible for building the regions business strategy for sales, managing and closing a pipeline of new business as well as overseeing existing client relationships.

As part of this role you will be expected to:

Maintain an appropriate business pipeline and to keep management information up-to-date.
Mentor and partner the sales team to achieve set business goals.
Identify regional opportunities, stay abreast of developments effecting the market and potential customer base.
Work closely with business development counterparts in other regions to share business strategy and proactively identify global opportunities.
Work closely with the business management team and marketing team to assist in the creation of targeted marketing campaigns and where necessary engage in sales process with interested parties.
Actively network within relevant industry sectors and target organisations to build effective relationships with existing and potential customers.
Build strong working relationships with our existing clients to ensure swift resolution of issues and readiness to on-sell new technologies.
Communicate sales pipeline and development regularly to executive team.

Desired Skills and Experience

Background of complex solution selling.
Understanding of relevant technologies across wealth management and/ or data management and analytics technologies.
Ability to prepare and present business cases and be involved in tender responses.
Strong regional network in relevant industry.
Results driven and team focussed.
Prior experience mentoring and coaching, building teams and managing people across multiple locations.
Candidate must have the right to live and work in the United States.
