We are looking to hire Senior Data Architect for a number of enterprise data projects. Synechron's Strategy and Architecture group is considered a leading thought leader for the financial services industry for defining and implementing enterprise level Data and Integration architecture. Due to significant client demand, we currently seek a number of senior consultants and architects that are able to play role in defining enterprise architectures for Big Data and Data Warehouse, Master Data/Reference Data, Integration for data and transaction processing. We seek senior staff that truly can make a significant contribution to our clients competitive positioning and with a minimum of 12 years of experience as our Strategy and Architecture group averages 23 years of experience.

Role:

Contribute to Performance Reporting re-architecture initiative. The qualified candidate should be able to think of different data access patterns to access data. Strong data modeling experience with experience in building high performance computing and low latency solutions.
Design and build scalable platforms to collect & analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured data
Be able to assess the impact of various technologies (grid computing, caching, ETL) on data design and storage
Map business domain entities into physical data constructs to maximum efficiency in data storage/retrieval and processing

Technical Expertise

Expert level hands-on skills in complete Data Architecture for large-scale distributed data processing applications
Expert level skills in real-time analytics and non-relational data stores
Experience with data caching and grid computing platforms and frameworks
Experience with a range of big data architectures (exposure to GreenPlum, GemFire, Cassandra is a plus)
