Job Description

Candidate will be responsible working with the VP of FP&A to enhance the analytical material presented to Senior Management and the Board of Directors. Applicant is expected to be able to work closely with the Business Lines in providing a cohesive management package that provides analytical insight into the financial results.

Key job responsibilities include:

Management and Board Reporting of Actual Results on a Quarterly Basis

Development and maintenance of monthly financial reporting to Senior Management

Working with Business Lines to ensure consistency of Financial Reporting Material (including coming up with common definitions)

Supporting head of FP&A in various Special Project (i.e development of corporate metrics)

Work with the Office of Chief Actuary in developing more robust reporting of Value of New Business Metric

Required Qualifications: Knowledge about the life insurance and investment management business - including GAAP & Statutory principles

• Well developed analytical skills with an understanding of key life insurance concepts

• Detail oriented with strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

• Capable to multi-task in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• A self-starter who is able to balance confidence with business etiquette

• Strong relationship building skills and work ethic

• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
